See my post at the end of this section, which was posted more than a year ago - before the shutdown of "The Art Institute". I predicted why the logic of going to this series of these particular schools did not make any sense.

Keep in mind that getting a job in this industry is extremely difficult. My best recommendation, if you really want to work in this career is at least go to Junior College and get an Associates Degree in some type of Computer Information Systems degree - where the College credits are transferable to a major Univerity. Now you can do what you want, and always have that associates degree to fall back on - just in case. The computer skills will help you in this Industry too, because this may be where you will be spending your days and nights generating computer games, VFX for CGI generated Artwork and Animation, or Special Effects.
Don't let them trick you into thinking that State and Gov Student Loans can happen at some of these AI or other non-accredited Universities or colleges. If you can get a Student loan or Scholarship that help pay, then it's somewhat worth it too.
Accredited - means (in my opinion) that any College credits are transferable to any large Establish University. Do the test before you start - ask a major University if they would accept credits from Junior college, they are likely to say yes. Next, ask if they accept the credits from the AI college you are about to attend - if they say no then possibly leave it alone)
I am saying to go to AI, Only if you do your homework prior to signing that paper.
